After a Republican plan to bridge the state’s nearly $900 million budget shortfall failed Tuesday night it was back to the drawing board for lawmakers. 

FBI Director James Comey is publicly confirming for the first time that the FBI is investigating Russia's efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, including any potential coordination between Trump campaign associates and Russia's government. 

The state House Representatives passed a bill Tuesday that would give teachers pay raises over the next three years, but with no way to fund the raises and no guarantee that the raises will remain in place after this year.

Despite another budget deficit, Oklahoma lawmakers said they're confident they can come up with a way to give teachers a raise this year.
